The process is not about assigning blame, but about understanding how family members relate to one another and what changes can help improve family life. The frequency of sessions and the duration of the process are tailored to the needs of each family.

Sessions usually last between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the family’s needs and the plan agreed with the psychotherapist.
Every family is different, but it is generally recommended that you have at least 6 to 10 sessions before you start to notice significant changes.
Ideally, all family members involved in the family dynamics who are willing to participate and improve the relationship. The composition is agreed upon on a case-by-case basis. In some cases, family therapy may be supplemented with individual sessions for some members if this is deemed beneficial to the family process.
Yes, the therapy strictly respects the confidentiality and privacy of each client, except in situations where there is a risk to safety or where there are plans to commit a crime.
It is normal for some members to be reluctant to attend therapy at first. Our team can work with those who do attend to help them make progress and, where possible, encourage other members to get involved throughout the process. It is also possible to do this from home thanks to our online psychology service in Málaga.
